It's better to build a bit of trust and useful content before showing affiliate links. People are less likely to click or buy if they don't feel your content has real value. For example, creating several posts that teach, explain, or guide your audience helps them see your content as helpful instead of sales-driven. Once you have at least a few detailed and informative posts, adding links feels more natural and not forced. Some affiliates wait until they notice good engagement before introducing links. It's about timing more than quantity. How much content do you think should come first before introducing affiliate offers?
 
I'd say aim for at least 8–10 high-quality, value-packed posts before adding affiliate links. The idea is to establish trust and show your audience that your content genuinely helps them, so when links appear, they feel natural rather than pushy. Focus on depth and usefulness over sheer numbers well-written guides, tutorials, or reviews create a foundation that makes your affiliate recommendations much more likely to be clicked and acted on.
 
I think there is no fixed number, but having some useful content first makes a big difference. When a blog or page already has helpful posts, people trust it more. If affiliate links come too early without enough value, it can feel like you are only trying to sell.
