There are some freelancers that are into more than one freelancing works. There are some that are writing articles and at the same time, they can do other things like web development. There is nothing bad in this actually. You only need to make sure that you have the capability to handle the number that you are combining. However, for someone that is relatively new to freelancing, there is no need of combining more than one. This will give you chance to focus.
