Social media advertising is a journey and there is a need to exercise much patience in order to have the desired results. The first three months on social media should be about checking the algorithm to know the taste the audience. Then the 6 to 12 months should be about intensifying the efforts on how to keep the advertising going.

Resilts however should be coming out around the 18 months. What's your take about it?
 
I'd say don't expect overnight results. Social media takes time to build trust and awareness. In my experience, the first few weeks mostly show engagement numbers—likes, shares, comments—but real business growth like website traffic or conversions usually shows after 3–4 months if you're consistent and targeting the right audience. Patience and persistence really pay off.
 
Results from social media marketing can vary, but typically you should wait 3–6 months to see consistent business growth. Organic strategies like posting, engaging, and building a community take time to gain traction. If you're running paid ad campaigns, you could start seeing results faster, sometimes within a few weeks. However, real success comes from testing, analyzing, and improving your strategy over time. Consistency and patience are essential.
 
Usually, you might start noticing little wins, like more likes, comments, or website clicks, within a month or two if you're posting regularly and chatting with your followers. Bigger stuff, like real sales growth or people really recognizing your brand, usually shows up around 6–12 months. How fast things move depends on your industry, how good your content is, how often you post, and whether you're running ads.
 
It is best you have a long time plan as to results so you don't get disappointed. Personally if you put things properly you are likely to see results in couple of weeks and at most 3 months you should. However, if things didn't work, don't quit, review your strategy.
