Ask How important is commission rate compared to product quality?

When it comes to affiliate marketing, two things really matter: how much you earn from each sale (commission rate) and how good the product is (product quality). A higher commission rate means more money per sale, which can be really appealing. But if the product isn't something people want or need, you might not make many sales at all. Plus, pushing a low-quality product could harm your reputation since customers might stop trusting your suggestions. On the other hand, a great product can be simpler to promote, leading to more sales and even repeat buyers. However, if the commission is too low, it might not feel worth your time. So, maybe the best way is to find products that are both high-quality and pay a fair commission. That way, you're promoting something solid while still earning decently. What are your thoughts?

Honestly, when I started, I chased high commissions. But I quickly saw it's not always smart. Some high-paying products were hard to sell or didn't work well, and I lost trust with my followers. Now I look at product quality first. Even if the commission is small, people buy it more, and that adds up. If your followers trust what you promote, they'll come back. So yes, commission is important, but if the product isn't good, it could hurt your whole strategy.

Yeah, making more money per sale sounds awesome, but if the product's bad, no one's gonna buy it. Good stuff makes people trust you, and that's way better for the long run. If you keep sharing cool products, folks will stick around and listen to you, which means more sales down the road. So even if the commission's lower, it's way smarter to promote something that actually works than to chase the highest payout with junk

For me, product quality is the most important factor. If you promote a poor-quality product just for the commission, it can hurt your credibility and damage trust with your audience. A good product, even with a lower commission rate, is easier to promote and builds confidence in your recommendations. That said, commission rate still matters you want to make sure the effort you're putting in is worth the payout.

Both things matter, but product quality usually has stronger impact on long term success. When the audience feels satisfied, they are more willing to click future recommendations too. Chasing only high commissions can damage trust if the offer turns out bad. A balance between good commission and solid product is usually the smarter approach.
