Over the years, advertising has also gone through various transformations, adjusting itself according to the changing attitudes of consumers and existing technological capabilities.
At first, the marketing sphere was mainly focused on printed media, voice communication via the radio and moving pictures on TV. The attention of the audience was captured mostly using newspapers and magazines. Radio advertising began in the early 1920s, and later this decade such things as television commercial breaks commenced, which are advertisements that gained popularity as the most visually appealing and far reaching form of advertising.
The advent of the World Wide Web in the early 1990s was another turning point. Advertising started to develop in a different way. The marketing of products through the usage of search engine and banner advertisements. This way of things made it possible for the advertisers to control the information more, the way users act or what they like.

Advertising has really good through many epochs. The era of print media only made the people to depend solely on writing. People can get to know more about platforms and products by reading about it. Then the era of TV changed the scenario before we now have the Internet era.

Instead of seeing the same old stuff everywhere, we'll get ads that match our tastes, habits, or even our mood, thanks to AI. With VR and AR, we could "try out" products without leaving home. Social media and streaming platforms will probably make ads feel less annoying by blending them into the content we already love. Privacy concerns might push brands to be more honest and creative about how they reach us.

These days, it is easier to make advertising much more less expensive. Most of the digital marketing strategies do not cost that much compared to the traditional ways of advertising. Apart from that, the new marketing strategies are somehow easier to carry out than the traditional ways. You can even make use of artificial intelligence to get these done.

In the early 1900s, it relied on simple newspaper ads and radio jingles shouting product benefits. The 1950s-60s brought colorful TV commercials with catchy slogans and celebrity endorsements, turning brands into household names. The internet revolution in the 1990s shifted everything online. Today, it's hyper-personalized: social media algorithms target you with ads based on your likes, location, and browsing history. Influencers and short TikTok videos feel more authentic than polished TV spots. AI now predicts what you'll buy before you know it.
