Reputation in freelancing does not build overnight, and anyone who tells you it does is probably leaving out a lot of the story. It usually takes a few months of consistent work, good communication, and happy clients before you start to feel like you have earned the right to charge more. Some people get there faster if they start with strong results early on. How long did it take you before you felt confident enough to raise your rates?

I don't know your work rate but I will advise you to dedicate at least 12 months of your time if you are looking forward to increase your reputation in the marketplace that we justify it high rate. Another thing is that you have to be consistent delivery top rated quality service to the clients and attract a lot of positive reviews.
