I have been exploring webinars and live events as potential ways to promote affiliate offers, and I wonder how tracking works in these cases.

I know platforms use special links or codes to ensure leads are properly credited to the right affiliate. Others might rely on post-event sign-up forms or unique landing pages.

I think having clear tracking for live events is important since they often bring highly engaged prospects.

When people sign up, their info goes straight into our system and gets tagged to that specific event. During the webinar, we keep an eye on who's asking questions, answering polls, or just really engaged. After it's over, we send out follow-up emails or offers and track who clicks or replies. If someone books a demo later, we can see that it all started with the event. We also use special links and landing pages to know exactly where each lead came from
