Ask How do you work on a project that is very abstract and has no clear path from the start?

Some projects arrive without a clear brief, a defined outcome, or even a rough idea of what done looks like. The client knows they want something but cannot quite describe it, and you are expected to move forward anyway. Working in that kind of space requires a different approach because you cannot just follow instructions that were never given. You have to ask the right questions, set small checkpoints, and adjust as you learn more about what the client actually needs. How do you stay on track when a project starts with more questions than answers?
