Bullying is not something that is new to clients. There are different ways bullying can take place. It can be through verbal bullying or sometimes, psychological bullying. How do coaches stop this bullying? Some can do that by punishing those that are involving in it either by sending them away.

I keep an open-door policy so athletes feel safe coming to me. If someone speaks up, I listen first without jumping to conclusions. Then I separate the kids involved, talk to witnesses, and get the full story. Meanwhile, I check in on the target daily. My job is to build them back up and make sure they never feel alone. Team culture over ego. Always.
