Ask How do you price a project when the client cannot clearly define what they want?

This one is harder than people admit. A client comes with a rough idea, no clear plan, and asks how much it will cost. If you quote too low and the project grows, you lose money. If you quote too high, you lose the job. It feels like guessing, and there is no safe number when the scope is not clear. How do you handle pricing when the brief keeps changing?

First honesty is very important in this case so that the client will not feel at you are reaping him or her off. Now you have to look at the similar project you have executed in the past and tell them the similar price. You need to explain thoroughly to the client so that they will not feel scammed at the end
