A good way to judge a strategy is by checking whether the numbers are moving in the right direction. More website visits, more sales, better engagement, or more leads can all be signs of progress. Some strategies work quickly, while others take months before results become clear. Small improvements often show that things are heading in the right direction. Looking only for big wins can make people quit too early. Should marketers give more attention to gradual progress instead of quick results?
 
Honestly, you'll know it's working when you see consistent micro-wins. Within the first 2-4 weeks, look for upticks in engagement, clicks, or saves, that's a red flag, not a slow start. Give it 90 days max. If you're seeing some growth, be patient and optimize. If you're totally dead in the water? Pivot now. Trust the data, not hope.
 
I usually look at the numbers I expected before the campaign started. If website traffic, engagement, leads, or sales are slowly improving, I give the strategy more time. If the important metrics stay flat for weeks with no progress, then it's a sign that something needs to be adjusted instead of waiting longer.
 
A good strategy doesn't always produce instant results, especially with SEO and content marketing. I pay attention to small positive changes like better search rankings, lower bounce rates, or more qualified visitors. Those signs show the campaign is moving in the right direction even if the final sales haven't increased much yet.
