Including emotional triggers can push people to click. Words like "easy," "proven," "simple," "avoid," or "mistake" tap into what people want or fear. Everyone wants things to be easy and nobody wants to mess up. If your description speaks to those feelings, it stands out from the generic ones.
 
Google cuts off descriptions around 150 to 160 characters, so if your important words are at the end, nobody sees them. Front load the key info and make sure the most compelling part shows up before it gets to the character limit. Also, test different versions if you can.
