Freelancers should know that they need to chase the wrong clients before getting the right ones. Most of the times, the wrong clients maybe the hinderance for not seeing the good ones. That's why it is better as a freelancer to know how well they can discard any clients that they believe are not rally working for them. They may refer them to some freelancers that are their junior.
