Hang out on their posts for a bit and see how real they are. Be upfront: peek at past collabs and make sure they're legit. Then have a straight-up chat about what matters to your brand.
 
The first thing is to follow updates and contents that are related or relevant to your business. This way you will see the posts or content of many influencers and from there you can learn about the top influencers. You can thereafter follow up with them to learn more before engaging them.
