Setting a price as a freelancer is one thing many people struggle with when they start out. Some look at what others charge, some just pick a number and hope it works, and some base it on how much they need to earn every month. There is no single method that works for everyone in this business. So when you sit down to set your price, what do you actually think about first before you settle on a number?

If I don't know the price I am going to charge for the service I want to offer the marketplace I am going to do a market research. I will try to see the average price people are charging for the service in the marketplace and I came up with my own and the one that will give me enough profit
