There is no way there will be smooth class always. There will be a day when there will be clashes between students for some reasons. Some of the reasons may be because of clash of interest, different views and some other factors. .

The best way is to have a sense of humour and making the rude behaviour seem funny.. Most kids will behave if people are good to them but clear about what there behaviour should be.. Keeping the lesson interesting is the most successful.. Promising a lively ending if the behave during it .. So strict but with a sense of humour and rewarding good behaviour work best.

If the rudeness is coming from a student, even after a sound warning, I may have nothing else to do than to just isolate such a student to serve as deterrent. But if it continues, I may suspend such a student or even terminate his studentship. I don't mind giving back his money.
