The best way to grow your income as a freelancer is to get more work from the people who already trust you. Instead of looking for new clients every day, you can suggest extra services that will help their business grow even further. It is better to offer these things as helpful suggestions rather than trying to force a sale on them. This builds a stronger relationship and keeps the money flowing in regularly. How do you suggest extra services to your current clients without sounding like a salesman?
 
I will say that it depends on the approach you are using. I will advise you never to suggest additional services related to the one you are providing. Rather you can show them how they can improve on the existing services you provide them and you are not going to appear pushing in that way.
