Creating content that people enjoy and share on social media takes attention and planning. First, you need to know who your audience is and what they like to see. If your content matches their interests, they are more likely to interact with it. Using images, videos, or short stories can make posts more interesting than plain text. Timing also matters because posting when more people are online increases visibility.

Also, listening to feedback is important. You can see which posts get more likes, comments, or shares and adjust your content accordingly. Engaging content often comes from observing what works and trying new ideas regularly. What kind of posts do you find most engaging? Share your thoughts below.

Bright pics, short clips, or fun graphics catch eyes 'cause people scroll super fast. Keep your captions chill, funny, or relatable, and toss in a question or "what do you think?" to get comments. Stories and behind-the-scenes stuff feel real and personal. Jump on trends and hashtags to get noticed, but always add your own spin so it's not copy-paste. Post often so people actually see you, and watch which posts get the most likes or shares

Think about what your friends would actually stop and watch instead of scroll past. Talk like a real person, not a textbook. Keep it chill and relatable. A strong first line helps a lot. Good visuals are huge too. Bright pics, quick videos, or even funny memes can grab attention fast. Don't overthink it. Share stories, random thoughts, behind-the-scenes moments. Ask questions so people can reply and feel included. And honestly, just be consistent. The more you show up as yourself, the more people will connect with you

Ensure you are wanting with open-minded conclusion where you can easily allow the other people to contribute their opinions and views. It is also possible for the content writers to ensure that they reply their audience whenever they make comments that need to be addressed. This will keep them engaged more.

The popular advice would be to ask people for what they want, but in my experience this often doesn't produce results. As Stewart Butterfield told me once, "people don't know what they want until you give it to them."

When I was creating content at Disney, the audience would make suggestions for content, and it didn't end up performing as well as we thought it would. Audience participation in the creation of content is a different story – involving an audience can increase engagement in the content tenfold.
