Building a personal brand feels unnatural to a lot of freelancers, especially when they are not sure what to say or how to present themselves. The fear of sounding fake or trying too hard stops many people before they even start. But a personal brand does not have to be a performance. It is really just showing what you stand for and what kind of work you do best. Keeping it honest and simple makes it easier. How have you approached building yours without losing that sense of authenticity?

You have to be genuinely in your approach with the service you are providing as a freelancer. Do not pretend that you can execute a project or a gig when you don't have knowledge about it. Only do what you have understand and knowledge about. I vote calling yourself what you are not.
