Rush fees are something a lot of freelancers feel uncomfortable talking about, even when it is completely fair. When a client needs something done urgently, it usually means rearranging other work or putting in extra hours outside of normal time. Asking for more money in that situation should not feel wrong, but somehow it often does. Many freelancers avoid the conversation altogether and just absorb the pressure.
