Many people start freelancing just to pay their bills but having a bigger goal helps you stay focused when things get difficult. A vision is basically a clear picture of where you want your business to be in the next few years. Without a plan, it is easy to just take any job that comes your way even if it does not help you grow. I believe that knowing your purpose makes you more attractive to the right clients.
