I am new to freelancing and don't know how to get my first project. I see many freelancers working, but I don't understand how they find clients. Do I need a portfolio? Should I message clients directly? I don't know if I should use freelance platforms or try social media. I just want to start and get real projects. What is the best way to get a project from freelance clients?
