There are different factors to be considered before having a successful session on social media these days. There is a need to be consistent and original. These will make the algorithm know the person as having authority on the particular topics or products being promoted on the social media.

There is a need as well to ensure that we post during the time we know we are likely to get engagement, this means we can post in the morning.

The more you scroll, the more they get you. It's not just about who you follow anymore. They check how long you watch stuff, how fast you scroll, even what makes you pause. In 2025, AI is so advanced it can basically guess what will grab your attention next.
 
I think the algorithm works based on what is trending because to an extent the audience have influence on the way the algorithm works. I guess in 2025 the algorithm favor those who also share their content on their stories especially in Facebook and Instagram. They are now monetized as well.
