The right balance is making urgency a byproduct of reality, not a sales trick. If there's a real limit time, stock, or pricing state it clearly and explain why it exists, then let the customer decide without pressure. Good urgency sounds like "this ends Friday because we're closing this batch," not "act now before it's too late!!!" You're giving a reason, not creating panic. When urgency feels calm and transparent, people trust it and that trust converts better over time than any forced countdown.
