How do you start? Well everyone here gave you many options in their answers. Everything's online - Blogs, Tutorials, webinars, etc. Just stay focused on what's right for you. There are so many different levels of Digital Marketing - from being a freelance manager of facebook pages and twitter accounts to being part of teams in huge - digital marketing companies that specialize in very high-level operations like AgileOne that specialize in Predictive-Marketing and create complex algorithms or Pontis that specialize with Big-Data-Customer-Engagment. But these days basically every type of marketing is Digital. It just depends on whether you're a content person or an algorithms person.

Good Luck!

I'd say the best way to start learning digital marketing is to pick one area that interests you—like social media, content marketing, or SEO and focus on it first. Take free online courses, watch tutorials, and practice by creating your own projects or managing small accounts. Hands-on experience is key because it teaches you real-world challenges and strategies. Once you're comfortable, you can expand into other areas or more advanced tools, building a strong foundation step by step.

Start with one channel instead of trying to learn everything at once. Pick something like email marketing or social media ads and just mess around with it for a few weeks. You can find free courses on YouTube that walk you through the basics without all the fancy jargon.

The thing is, digital marketing makes way more sense when you actually do it rather than just reading about it. Set up a simple project for yourself, even if it's promoting something imaginary, so you have a reason to practice the steps.

Honestly, the best way is to just jump in and start trying things. You don't need a big budget or some perfect plan. Maybe create a free blog or social media page about something you care about, then figure out how to get people to see it. You will learn a lot from that alone.

There are tons of free resources out there, but the hard part is knowing where to begin. Google has their own free certification courses that cover ads and analytics, which gives you actual credentials you can show people later. HubSpot also offers free training that is pretty beginner-friendly.

You could always look for internships or volunteer work with small businesses that need help online. They usually don't expect you to know much, and you'll learn way faster when there's something real on the line. Working with an actual business shows you what matters and what's just noise.

You need to have the mindset of learning it first. Apart from that, you can easily choose the one from different marketing strategies, that you like. It can be social media marketing, email marketing and more others. Don't learn them at the same time. Try to pace them for me

First, just understand the basics like SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and ads. Just watch a few YouTube videos or take free beginner courses like Google Digital Garage. Then pick one thing to start with, like Instagram or TikTok marketing, instead of trying to learn everything at once. Try small stuff like posting content, growing a page, or writing simple captions. You'll learn way faster by doing than just reading. Also, check how brands are posting online so you can copy the idea style. The main thing is just to start and stay consistent.
