How do I handle "scope creep" without losing the client?

I know there are different freelancers that are scared of this. They don't know how to handle scope creep. Scorp creep happens when there is extra task that are not captured in the actual quoting. This will make the freelancers to handle the price. In actual sense, when a client adds extra task outside the ones that you both concluded on, he needs to pay. But if you are the one adding just to make the work detailed, you will bear the cost. What do you think about this?

You should be careful about setting low standards right from the start. Once you start doing things that are not in the agreement, it is hard to stop. Most people who do this will regret it later because they feel like they are being used by their own clients.
