I'm new to freelancing and not sure how to handle unexpected client requests.
Sometimes, clients ask for things that weren't part of the original agreement. I don't want to seem unhelpful, but I also don't want to do extra work for free.
Should I charge more for these requests? If so, how do I explain it without upsetting the client?
I also worry that saying no might make them look for someone else. Is there a polite way to set boundaries while keeping a good relationship?
How do freelancers handle client requests that fall outside the agreed scope?
