There are some clients out there once you think advantage of their services by paying little or nothing. You will see them asking for review consistently after you have finished with the project even to you. Some of them can be annoyed in their approach when they are asking for review and if you refuse to do their biddings they will report you to the platform.

The question I have in mind to ask you guys is that How do freelance prevent clients wants to take advantage of them? I will be looking forward to your response in the comment section thank you.

It's unfortunate that some clients try to take advantage of freelancers by paying very little or requesting free work in exchange for reviews. Here are some strategies that freelancers can use to prevent clients from taking advantage of them:

1. Set clear boundaries: From the beginning, establish clear boundaries with your clients regarding payment terms, deliverables, and revisions. Make sure to communicate your rates and expectations upfront.

2. Use contracts: Always have a written contract in place that outlines the scope of work, payment terms, and any other important details. Contracts can protect you legally and ensure that both parties are on the same page.

3. Ask for upfront payment or milestone payments: Requesting a portion of the payment upfront or breaking payments into milestones can help ensure that you are compensated fairly for your work.

4. Limit the number of revisions: Clearly state in your contract the number of revisions included in your rate. This can prevent clients from asking for endless revisions without additional compensation.

5. Have a clear policy on reviews: Let clients know that reviews are appreciated but not guaranteed. You can also set boundaries on when and how you accept reviews, such as after the final payment has been made.

6. Trust your instincts: If a client's behavior seems suspicious or they are pushing boundaries, trust your instincts and consider ending the relationship. Your mental health and well-being are important.

Remember, it's important to stand up for yourself and your work as a freelancer. Don't be afraid to say no to clients who are trying to take advantage of you. Setting boundaries, using contracts, and communicating clearly are key strategies in preventing clients from exploiting freelancers.
