Bundles, free shipping above a certain amount, and personalized email offers also work well because they feel helpful instead of pushy. The key is making the extra purchase feel useful, not forced.
 
Businesses increase average order value by offering bundles or package deals instead of selling only single items. When customers see that buying two or three products together saves money, they often spend more than they originally planned. It works especially well when the products naturally fit together and feel useful as a set.
