I just started implementing display network ads (responsive), and immediately when I activated the ads, my site was flooded with visitors. I use Tawk To chat app, so I can see who's on the site, where they are from, and where they are located at.
The reason I question this is I get clicked out (about $20 worth of clicks) within 60 seconds, and the bounce rates are very high.
What's more interesting is that I tried this at 4 AM today, and the same thing happened.
How can I tell if it's a bot or JavaScript clicking on the display ads [possibly to make the website they're located on earn more revenue]?
