It is a pity most times that new freelancers that are eager to work always accept all tasks even if those tasks are more than what they can offer. Majority of them will tell you they can design, they can edit and even can build websites. Clients don't really fall for this except those that are ready to pay you for scope creep. You need to learn how you can niche you service down so that you won't be doing much for just peanuts.

The way to go about it is to create a market research for your niche on the freelance marketplace. You need to search thoroughly a specific angle in which there are little or no services. Of course there must be a demand for that angle but with less available freelancer for it. Once you do this you'll be able to niche down your freelance service
