While buying traffic from affiliate networks, if is better for the users to be very careful as there are some fake affiliate networks that can generate bot traffic that are fake. It takes only users that have vast experience to know the difference between the fake and real traffic.

I learnt there are several ways by which the users can know this, especially the new users but I don't really know it. Is there anyone here that know how to know if a traffic is real or fake?

You can spot fake traffic by looking at simple numbers in your analytics. Check how long visitors stay and how many pages they open. If most visits last only a few seconds and they leave right away, that is a bad sign. Look for huge jumps in visits that do not match any promotion you ran. Also watch where the clicks come from. If many clicks come from one small town or from strange referrer sites, that could be fake. Run small tests, pause the source that looks bad, and compare conversion rates. It is slow work but you will save money when you cut bad traffic early.
