How are you coping as new freelancers on a professioal dominated freelancing platforms?

To say the least, hardly the new freelancers always get task on some of the freelancing platforms because these platforms are dominated by the professional. Most clients will not want to entrust their sensitive tasks in the hands of new freelancers. Most of the times, new freelancers may spend more than six months without seeing any clients.
