I've never installed any kind of ad blocking software because I actually find digital ads quite fascinating. Instead of skipping or avoiding them, I make a point to watch the majority of the ads that are delivered to me. I do this with a curious mindset, always trying to decode the underlying algorithm and understand what data or behavior may have triggered the ad. I constantly ask myself: why am I seeing this particular ad right now, at this exact moment? What signals have I sent that made this ad appear? Occasionally, an ad will be so well-targeted that it speaks directly to my needs or interests. That's the moment when advertising really works—it feels relevant, personal, and even helpful.
