Have you ever recommended any freelancing platforms to any one before?

I have seen and heard freelancers trying to recommend freelancing platforms to some freelancers, especially new freelancers. There may be many reasons why they may do this. Some may be doing it for referral and for any other reasons. There is nothing bad in letting other knows what we enjoy when it comes to freelancing. Therefore, nothing is bad in telling people more about the freelancing platforms that we believe. What do you think about this?

Yes I've done it the moment I finish in internship program with some of the people who came to learn freelance from me. I usually ask them to get an account on upwork in fiverr to get started. Not only that I do tell them how they are going to set up their profile to make it look professional.
