There are sometimes that the clients will just be too pleased with the works or tasks done by the freelancers that he has no choice than to just appreciate him. Some may do so by sending gifts to the freelancers. Other may decide to send money as a form of appreciation. However, not being appreciated before doesn't mean that such a freelancer is not a competent one.
