Freelancers on Upwork often mention that understanding the full pricing structure takes more effort than it should for a platform this popular. Between service fees, membership charges, and Connects pricing, it can feel like there are too many separate costs to keep track of. This confusion sometimes makes freelancers unsure of their real earnings until the payment reflects in their account. Do you think Upwork has made pricing too confusing, or is this level of detail necessary?

I must be honest with you there was a time one of the free last client came to my DM asking the actual price of the service I offer.. I was so surprised that I keep asking which of the services because I have already put price on all the services I offer on upwork.
