Freelancers who have used Upwork for many years often say the platform used to feel more supportive and easier to navigate than it does today. Newer freelancers sometimes struggle with policies that feel stricter and fees that keep increasing without clear explanation. Long time users compare the current experience to how things were before and often feel a bit disappointed. Do you think Upwork has become less friendly toward freelancers compared to how it used to be?

Honestly it feels that way. Back then it was easier to land jobs with fewer connects and lower fees. Now there's more competition higher fees and stricter rules. Upwork seems focused on big agencies and clients. Freelancers still get work but it takes more effort and money just to start.
