When someone starts learning about websites, family members often become curious and may request help for their own ideas. It could be something like a small business page, a blog, or even a simple online portfolio. The request might seem easy at first, but building a site takes time and planning, especially if the person is not sure what they want. Sometimes it can be a good opportunity to practice skills while also helping someone close. Other times it can be stressful if expectations are unclear. Has anyone here faced this kind of request, and how did you handle it? Did you agree right away, or did you set limits so it would not feel overwhelming?

I've definitely faced this! My cousin wanted help with a blog, and I thought it'd be a quick project. But they weren't sure what they wanted, so it turned into a lot of back-and-forth. It became stressful because I didn't set any boundaries. Looking back, I should've been upfront about what I could do and how much time I could spend. Helping family is great, but it's important to make sure their expectations are clear so it doesn't become overwhelming for you.
