It is not a big deal getting rejected because of high price. It doesn't really matter. There are sometimes as well when clients reject even those that are very qualified on the ground that they have high price. But is this enough reason to reject freelancers? Depending on the clients, if you are looking for competent freelancers, you may not mind much about the price. What matters the most will be the outcome to you.

Yes it happens most of the time in the freelance marketplace has some clients can't afford the price of your services despite that is up high quality. There is nothing bad in that since it's normal market behavior that occurs regularly. There's no need to attach any emotion to it because it comes regularly
