Facebook Ads are generally easier for a beginner, but Google Ads can be more effective right out of the gate.

The problem with Google Ads is that it's very easy to lose money if you don't know what you are doing. It's a lot more nuanced, and if you just give control to Google's automated settings, you can waste your budget on irrelevant traffic from behind-the-scenes levers you didn't know existed.

Facebook's targeting is more straightforward. You can target people based on interests and demographics, which is more intuitive for a beginner than Google's complex keyword and auction system.

While Google Ads can be much more effective right out of the gate because you're reaching people with active search intent, Facebook might be easier to start with if you are inexperienced with both platforms.
 
In my opinion, Facebook Ads are easier for beginners because the platform walks you through creating campaigns and choosing audiences step by step. You can start with a very small budget and test different ads quickly. The built-in tools for targeting, A/B testing, and analytics make it easier to understand performance. I often recommend beginners start here because it teaches basic ad skills and helps you learn how to reach the right people without overwhelming complexity.
 
The whole setup is simple and kind of walks you through everything, so you don't feel lost. You can pick who sees your ads based on stuff like age, location, or interests, which is really helpful. It also gives you suggestions, so you don't have to overthink every little thing. You don't need to be super techy to figure it out either. Even with a small budget, you can try things out and see what works. Overall, it's a chill way to get into digital marketing
