There are many businesses that have been set up for a long period of time and yet they are thriving. Others may be set up within a year and noting to write about them. The opposite can be the same as well, where there are businesses that are older but still couldn't make any positive impacts.

What do you think? Do you think longetivity of a business really affect the business? Share it in the comment section.

I don't think longevity alone can determine how effective a business is. A company may exist for many years but still struggle to deliver value if it's not adapting to change. On the other hand, a new business can make a strong impact within a short time if it has clear goals and a good strategy. What really matters is consistency, innovation, and how well the business meets customer needs. Longevity can show stability, but effectiveness comes from how well the business continues to grow and remain relevant.

While a long-running business can suggest stability and experience, it doesn't always mean the business is effective today. Some companies stick around by doing just enough to survive, but they might not innovate or deliver top-notch service. On the other hand, a newer company could be extremely efficient, customer-focused, and up-to-date with the latest trends and technology. Effectiveness is more about how well a business meets customer needs

A long-time running business should have built reputation over time if it is handled well. But this may not be the case for every business. There are some businesses that are long-time running but they are not still growing. That's why I will believe that business is not about time.

Some companies stick around because they're comfy with the same old ways, not because they're killing it. Meanwhile, new businesses can be super effective, moving fast, trying new things, and outsmarting the old-timers. Being effective is really about hitting your goals, keeping customers happy, and handling stuff well. So yeah, being around a long time might show you're steady, but it doesn't automatically mean you're awesome at what you do.

For the fact that a business has been established for long doesn't mean that such a business can give the best results. There are some businesses that are newly established and they are giving the audience the best that they deserve. What really matters is the management of the business and not the age

If a company has lasted years, it probably figured out how to keep customers, adapt to changes, and manage its money well. That usually points to some level of success. But sometimes businesses stick around just because they have a strong name, not much competition, or outside support. At the same time, newer businesses can be really effective too, especially if they're innovative or better at solving people's problems
