When people start freelancing, one of the first confusing questions is whether they need to officially register as a business before they can start working. Registering as a business usually means getting a legal structure, like being a sole trader or setting up a company, which comes with extra paperwork and sometimes taxes. Some people skip this at the beginning and just start taking on clients informally. So I am curious, did you register your freelance work as a business right away, or did you figure that part out later?
