Ask Does BMF affiliate encourage joint promotion of affiliate offers?

A friend of mine that is an affiliate marketer on this forum was asking me a question that I don't have answer to. He asked if he can be promoting his offers with his friends, in what he described as joint promotion. To be sincere, I have not had something like that before and I don't know how it works.

Have you heard of it before? Do you think it can work ? Share the means to make it work.

It kind of makes sense, because when people work together, they can reach more eyeballs and possibly get more clicks or sales. So you might see affiliates sharing the same links, doing joint posts, or even running collabs on social media or email blasts. That said, it's not always a free-for-all. Some programs have rules, so you still want to check what's allowed so you don't step on any toes. But in general, if it helps bring in more traffic and everyone benefits, joint promotion is pretty normal.
