Affiliate projects are often built around websites, blogs, or social pages that promote products. Some people prefer to keep these projects private, fearing that if too much is shared, others might copy ideas, take niches, or compete directly. Privacy can protect the work and reduce outside opinions. On the other hand, sharing projects with friends, online groups, or even family can bring advice, feedback, and new opportunities. Some even believe being open helps build trust and learning. Do you think being secretive keeps an edge in the market, or does openness bring more value? How do you decide who to share your projects with, if at all?

Keeping your projects private definitely gives you an edge, especially in competitive markets. Sharing too much can lead to others copying your niche or strategies. That said, I think there's a lot of value in being open with the right people, like mentors or communities where everyone is focused on learning and growing together. I'm selective about who I share with, I only talk about my projects with people who've earned my trust and won't see it as an opportunity to compete. Openness is great, but only when it's safe and productive.

Many people prefer keeping their affiliate projects private, especially when something is working well. The reason is usually competition. Once too many people enter the same strategy or niche, it can become harder to maintain the same results and traffic.
