Promoting products in affiliate marketing can feel uncomfortable if the product has not been personally used. Some marketers worry that recommending something without firsthand experience might seem dishonest. One way to handle this is to be open and explain that the recommendation is based on research, reviews, or trusted sources rather than personal use. It also helps to focus on products with a strong reputation or positive feedback from other buyers. How do others stay honest while promoting affiliate products? Can being transparent about not using a product actually increase trust with potential customers instead of reducing it?
 
It's weird telling people to buy something when I'm not sure if it's legit. So, I usually do some quick research or read reviews before I talk about it. And if I haven't used it myself, I try to be straight-up with my audience about that. I don't want to lose their trust, you know? But honestly, with so many products out there, it's hard to test everything. So yeah, a bit of guilt.
 
I do feel a bit guilty if I promote something I haven't used myself, so I try to be extra careful.
