There are some freelancers that do charge their clients because they believe that the clients have broken breaches. There are some freelancers that always fix time duration for their clients. The moment the client doesn't pay on time, the moment the freelancers will add additional charges for the breach of contract. What do you think? One thing I can say is that I have never received late payment because it is the marketplace that handle the transaction between me and the clients. Before I could start working on any project I would have received payment notification from the platform which shows that the client has shown their commitments.
