I'm not completely sure how this works. I've read that welcome emails can shape the way new customers see a store. I still don't know if they actually make a big impact on first-time buyer conversions.
I created a welcome sequence with a short thank you message and a small discount code. Some people opened the email and a few clicked through. The overall conversions did not show a clear pattern though.
