Argument whether it is better to consult the expert before using social media or not has been greatly discussed. The two sides are both right depending on the angle of perspection.

Consultants may be needed for some reasons which include getting the right information on what to post on the social media to get users engaged. It can also be needed when it comes to rendering some vital information while using the social media marketing.

If you are running a small business and just need basic posts or engagement, you can probably handle that yourself with some research and trial and error. But if you want serious growth, or a strategy that actually brings in customers, then hiring someone who knows what the a're doing might be worth it.

There are so many free tools and tutorials online that teach you how to run campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn. You just need to invest time learning the platform and testing what works for your audience. A consultant can save you time and help you avoid mistakes, but they can also be expensive.

I think it comes down to how serious you are about growing your brand. If social media is just something you do on the side, then no, you probably don't need a consultant. But if it's a major part of your marketing plan and you're spending money on ads, then having an expert can make a big difference.

You don't need one if you are willing to learn and experiment on your own. Running ads and managing accounts isn't rocket science, but it does take time to figure out what content performs well and how to target the right people.

For me, a consultant seems helpful if you want quick results and don't know much about social media trends. They can point out opportunities that you might miss and help create a consistent plan. But I also believe small businesses can start without one by reading guides, testing posts, and learning from results. The consultant is more like a shortcut than a must-have.

You don't always need a social media marketing consultant, but they can be helpful if you want faster or more professional results. Social media takes time and skill, especially if you're running ads or managing multiple platforms. A consultant knows what works and can create a strong strategy for your business. If you have the budget and need extra help, it's a good idea to hire one. If not, you can always learn and manage it yourself.
