If you have a lot of backlinks to a previous site that is now redirected to a new URL (for example: 310crimlaw.com is forwarded to esfandilawfirm.com). When we forwarded the old URL, there was a slight "hiccup" for a few weeks in ranking until those redirected backlinks were re-crawled and indexed to the new URL, and Google counted those links to the new domain, but it eventually happened.
