If you have a lot of backlinks to a previous site that is now redirected to a new URL (for example: 310crimlaw.com is forwarded to esfandilawfirm.com). When we forwarded the old URL, there was a slight "hiccup" for a few weeks in ranking until those redirected backlinks were re-crawled and indexed to the new URL, and Google counted those links to the new domain, but it eventually happened.

However, it's generally bad practice to continue building backlinks using the URL that is redirected to another URL. Build the links to the exact preferred URL where your site exists
